School History

History : The origin of DBDS goes back to late 1960’s. Beginning as a primary school in the year 1968, with the name "Sriram Vidyalaya" and medium of instruction in Hindi. The school made rapid progress as it became a Senior Secondary School in the year 1988. Due to the perseverance of the management and staff and their relentless pursuit for academic excellence and character building, the school won many laurels. not only in academics but also in athletics and other co-curricular.

By 2008, Kota, once known as an industrial city, has emerged as an educational city. To keep pace with this transition, and to educate global citizens, the school got affiliated to CBSE board with the name "Dr.Bansi Dhar School" and the medium of instruction became English. It is a co-educational school, with all the modern amenities of international standards like interactive board systems, 24 hours CCTV surveillance, 100 percent power back up, high tech computer lab, digital library, fully equipped science lab, language lab and medical room.
